THAMES AIS ONBOARD SYSTEM
Our consortium (Dolphin Maritime Software Ltd and Swale Marine) were appointed as the base line supplier of the Thames AIS onboard system in 2006. We supply a innovative and cost effective variety of systems suitable for all types of vessel trading on the Thames, ranging from systems for large and fast ferries and commuter craft down to systems for small 15 metre long tugs. All our Thames AIS systems are well proven in service since 2006 and we continue to enhance and develop them both for standard vessel types and for some of the more unusual vessels that we are asked to fit.
All our senior staff are down to earth seafarers, each with over 20 years experience in the relevant areas of marine software development, design, fitting and using electronic systems on boats and ships. All of us share the aim of installing a system that is both practical, reliable and easy to use for other seafarers.
